Using a Phoenix Family Law Attorney to Assist With an Adoption
February 18th, 2010 . by adminLast year, I became a mentor in one of the local girl’s after-school programs located in Phoenix. The experience has thoroughly changed my life. One of the girls in a mentoring program had lost her guardian a few years back. She had become a ward of the court. She found herself going from foster home to foster home. She just seemed to be one of those welfare cases that kept slipping through the cracks. I soon as I noticed her situation, I wanted to adopt her. I contacted a friend of the family who was a Phoenix family law attorney to see what my options were. Since the girl in question was in foster care, adopting was an option. I am having them start the process tomorrow.
