Spray Foam Insulation Keeps Our House Protected from Outside Noise
January 31st, 2010 . by adminWhen we decided to build our home next to the freeway, my husband was concerned about the possibility of noise pollution form the large trucks that travel that road all day and all night. He decided to have an extra layer of spray foam insulation sprayed onto the walls and ceilings to cut down on as much outside noise as possible. We also put in extra-paned glass in our windows. Now that we’re all settled in, the noise is barely noticeable. I think we became accustomed to the traffic patterns within the first week. I notice a real difference when we go outdoors, and I’m glad we chose the extra insulation.
