I have been struggling financially ever since my divorce three years ago.  My credit is not so good and there are many things that I just can’t get.  For example, I can’t move into a nicer apartment until I have a better credit score, and I went without a decent car because I couldn’t get financing.  However, a friend of mine told me to start looking on the Internet for auto loans.  I found a company’s website that helped find loans for people with bad credit.  The application process was surprisingly easy and the approval was quick.  Thank goodness for lenders like this.

I had been with the same insurance company for many years.  There didn’t seem to be any reason to switch to another company.  I paid my premium every month and everything was fine until I was involved in an accident.  It wasn’t even my fault, but the other driver was uninsured so my auto insurance had to pay for the repairs to my car.  The next month when I got my insurance statement I was shocked to see how much my premium increased.  I expected the rate to go up, but not that much.  Every insurance company is the same.  You pay your premium faithfully, but file a claim and see how fast they raise your payment. With the economy in the shape that it is, it is becoming far more common for people to have credit problems. I can definitely be considered a control freak. In some ways, it’s a very positive trait, because I can get right in the thick of things and get stuff done. I know that my boss at the used car supermarket thinks it’s great. However, ask my family and you might get another take of the issue. It does make me a bit difficult to live with.
