A Response To “China Company Plans to Appeal Microsoft Decision”
February 20th, 2012 . by adminIt is amazing (to me) that a Chinese court actually ordered damages this large. Given that their ‘justice’ system seems to be mostly orchestrated by political officials, I wonder if this is a sign that the government has decided to crack down on software piracy. That would be a big step in the right direction.
On the subject of pirates….. If Microsoft can sell copies of ‘Office’ there for $30 in China, why are they charging Americans many times that price? It may be their legal advice forum right to do so, but it is our legal right to resent that policy.
